Here's some tips for those of you just starting on cbe2
1) Level with friends! It's important to burn through the early quests to avoid getting stuck in line for a quest (unless you want to wait in line forever)

2) Highly recommend saving your LP (labor points) so that you'll have cap lp when you're lvl 40+. At lvl 40+ 5000 lp will net you 100% exp and 200% if you use a vocation tonic (cash shop item which doubles the amount of exp you get per labor u spend. You can buy these from other players on the auction house). Why spend 2-3 hours per level when you can afk and level up within 30 mins - 1 hour? (Note that labor does have a cap so use lp sparingly to prevent yourself from having your lp sit on cap)
3) Kill all the 2 star monsters you can find (
do this if you're leveling with a friend!). These mobs have a ton of HP but have a chance to drop archeum. Archeum is essential for crafters as they're the base material for weapons, armors and accessories.
4) Sell all your archeum dusts/shards! archeum is extremely difficult to come by as of cbe1 (this might change with cbe2! Trion announced that they are working with XLgames to change how players get archeum). The crafted gear is better than quest gear, but getting the archeum to craft is too expensive and not worth it. Also for higher level crafted gear, you'll need to find someone who has high level proficiency in their profession and have them make it for you. I found it a lot better to use the money elsewhere.
5)
For east continent only! I highly recommend that you ignore the "Self proficiency" quest chain in Mahadevi. This quest appears as soon as you enter the map and it tells you to collect different mob drops to make yourself an armor set. The problem is that it requires a fair bit of LP to craft. The armor that you get is bad and you'll replace it in a few levels. Save your LP!
6) In CBE1 there is a mob called Chaotic Abyssal Guardian in Exeloch on the north continent. The mobs were originally for the lvl 55 patch but Trion forgot to remove them. They give a TON of exp and you can start killing them as early as level 35 in a group of 5 (a lot faster then questing. For comparison quests at lvl 35 would give 3k exp and the mob there would give 18k exp that's split between amount of people in your party). I recommend going the standard tank/3 dps/healer or going 4 range dps and 1 healer. If you're running 4 range dps/1 healer, make sure the person drawing aggro is a archer because they'll be kiting the mob around. Be warned! The entire north continent is a pvp zone! plan accordingly!

7) At 18:00 ingame time, an event called Hasla rift happens. At the South East corner of hasla, a ton of mobs begin to spawn in waves and you kill these for a ton Hasla tokens. The tokens are used to create the lvl 50 Hasla weapons and they can be upgraded 2 additional times. You need 150 tokens to create the base weapon and an additional 200 and 300 for the next 2 upgrades. (These weapons will be the best you can get for a long time.) There are 6 different types of tokens (Honor, Loyalty, Conviction, Courage, Fortitude, and Sacrifice) which are used to create the 6 different type of Hasla weapons. You can farm Hasla tokens by killing the regular mobs around the area but they'll only drop 1 at a time. This area is also a PvP zone so plan accordingly!
