Recreational Divers found the dead cat locked up in a cage in the ocean depths.
It was Thursday last week that amateur divers from Øygarden found a pitiful cat dumped at sea to die by Rowan Strait wharf, when he and another was on the diving trip.
Inside the cage was a cat, which in all probability have drowned when the cage was thrown into the sea.
When the cage was found stabbed cat's paw out of the bars of the cage, which certifies that battle cat has fought before life ended.
We are aware that many people choose convenient solution when it no longer fit to be animal owner. That someone chooses to throw the family their animals on the ocean, we have unfortunately heard of before. It is absolutely terrible that someone can unwatched an animal for the suffering that has been done here. Whatever is the guilty apology for having done this we know not, but either way there is no excuse good enough for this says Linn Krogstad, press officer in Dyrebeskyttelsen Norway, in a statement.
Dyrebeskyttelsen Norway wanted to get the cat autopsied, but unfortunately the cat is dissolved in water and an autopsy will not be possible. The case will be prosecuted.
