My name is Camline. I play on the Alexina server and am looking to get to know other active players, and after reading about a billion guides on this forum I took the plunge and decided to join up. It's nice to make your acquaintance.

We need more people in Ruairi, I need new buddies to hang-around with.
Welcome, I just joined Nation today!
:skip:
We can still be buddies here, distance is not always a problem. We may be across the servers.

Next time I get a card I might poke someone into Ruairi! I've heard interesting things about it and Alexina can get a little much sometimes. How would you say it is over there?

I would say that, every place have it's pros and cons.
For me Ruairi have the blend that I was looking for, it felt like home.
When EU shutdown, and I learned that NA will be open to EU people. I was happy, I created my first character in Alexina. At first it was ok, but as days passed by it became distanced to me, It felt like I never really belong there. One of the biggest contributor of why I've joined Alexina is that it's "New".
I did create a new account, and Start over on Mari, but the first time I've arrived it already felt, this server was not for me, but I still strive, I hoped that maybe one day it'll feel like home. Unfortunately, that day never came.
By now you know what I'll say next.
So, I created a new account and decided to join Tarlach, I've entered the world of Erinn there and met and person. He helped me in-game, made what some people call as friends, It felt like home, but as days passes by, those feeling starts to disappear. In those times I asked myself " will I be able to continue like this?" It felt like I was not myself anymore.
Therefore, one last time. I created a new account, and yes you're right; I created a character in Ruairi, and that was the beginning of everything. I've met people whom I feel connected, they were very nice and friendly. I joined a guild after 2 days of playing, and now we're all still friends. My guild back then disbanded, but some of my guild mates are now in the same guild. This time I told myself, " finally, I've found the place I was looking for?" It felt so wrong yet so right.
I've never once regretted my decisions.
Confession time, I was afraid to join Ruairi as I heard about it's feats, but now I know never to trust what most people say, see it for yourself and then decide. There's this saying "Don't read a book by it's cover". You never know it might be a hidden gem.
For me Ruairi's Ruairi, this is what I call my home server.

I hope this long reply of mine is not boring.
If there's grammar mistake or spelling mistake, I'm sorry for that, I'm using my iPad to reply to this.
Have a good day.

Thank you for sharing your story. That always seems to be the trick in MMOs - if you can't find that right circle, things get tough no matter how good the game is. Especially a game like Mabi, where the warmth of the community is a major attraction. I'm glad you've found your place in Ruairi, and your testimony definitely makes me excited to try the place out.

Welcome :ran_luffy:
If we had a billion guides though I would need a much larger server.

Haha~. I may have exaggerated just a tad. After a while of obsessive combing of info it all starts to blur. Least guides are a nice distraction while I'm digging up daily potatoes.
