  Hmm, it was jam packed only a few hours into the parks opening, apparently there was some sort of HP event the weekend we went. So stopping to take pictures was a bit of a hassle with all the people walking everywhere, so it was more enjoyable to just soak everything in rather than see it through a camera lens! Or stress ourselves out at all trying to get a picture. [x
  
  We do have a bit more picture wise, but they're all on my phone right now.

  Thank you everyone! [x And we actually started dating on my birthday this past March. I mentioned this in another thread, but he cooked me dinner and we watched movies and drank wine. (since it was my 21st)
  
  It was a pretty great birthday. He was pouting and saying he'll need to step his game up for my birthday next year, but he didn't realize just how special he actually had made my birthday. So this surprise was a bit of a thank you and wanting him to enjoy his birthday since he had made me so happy on mine.

  Things ended between us last October. It was a really important relationship in my life, but we grew very differently in values and our views of relationships became mismatched. I took a break from dating for a few months and then started casually going on dates , but realized it wasn't for me. Which is where my current boyfriend comes in, as we were becoming friends during that time.
  
  Interestingly enough, my boyfriend got out of a serious relationship around the same time I did, and they also had started dating the around the same time my ex and I did. It was a very mirrored timeline.
  
  So by the time my boyfriend and I met, and started dating, we were able to help each other heal in a way and were able to be very understanding of each other while developing our own relationship slowly.
  
  It's worked out well for us. I took him to meet my Mom and some family a week ago and he's probably taking me home meet his parents for thanksgiving. =D
  
  (He also humors me on my random urges to paint overpriced pottery. haha)

  Awwwwww this was really cute and really nice of you to make a birthday so special and meaningful. I wish I was good at surprises/wasn't so awkward about it and at the same time im bad at keeping a surprise in cause i want to see how they react already Dx, but for me it's just like........I got you this.......and most of the time its not really that meaningful because i couldn't of think of anything i just wanted to surprise them by getting something because i don't buy gifts at all.

  Hmm, I think the biggest surprise I've made was when I bought my mother a big flatscreen for Christmas last year.
