Obamacare doesn't work. Insurance companies are still organized fraud operations, taking in tons of money each month and then not paying out when people need to actually use their coverage.
At least you're alright, but that bill is going to sting a little..

Actually it's not, she's getting her insurance back. The assholes don't dare to ignore it when it's official, aka the hospital sent some things through.
Don't give a shit about people's lives and livelihoods, only about their own.
It's ridiculous how easy it is to kick someone with chronic diseases off insurance in the US too. They need a bloody control mechanism. Nationalised health care in the US still needs to learn to walk.

my mom has hepatitis c and her liver is literally on the verge of failing
luckily, she went to the hospital and the doctor has her registered as disabled, so now she can get the medicine she needs
before this, they told her she couldn't get medical help because of her hepatitis

The hospital helped me get my insurance back and I got a call from medicaid telling me that they'd cover the bill since I was unjustly dropped in the first place

I could go on disability if I wanted to, but I know I can work and it's meant for people who can't.
