so I'm reforging my ninja set and I have a couple questions. I'm pretty much asking for an opinion of what you guys think the better option is.

Necessary information before the question:

I have shadow bind on shoes, and rolled shadow bind on my shuriken. I have confirmed they don't stack. This leads me to believe it's impossible to stack any of the ninja reforges with a weapon and piece of equipment (potentially excluding accessories)

I rolled shuriken max damage level 3, and it gave 3 damage. This confirms that the shuriken max damage reforge truly does only give +1 attack per level. This makes max attack power a better reforge.

I've been told the shuriken charge splash damage is insanely strong. Not far off from the initial hit.

The question:

Since you can't stack reforges with weapons, and have kunai storm attack range on gloves, shadow bind duration on shoes, and kunai storm damage on armor, this really leaves me with limited options for viability. I was wondering what you guys think would be the better option, and why (assuming I don't get some cool dual reforge)

1) Max attack power (A potential +40 max damage)
2) charging shuriken splash damage (Not sure how much this actually adds, but likely a decent amount)
3) explosive kunai amount of kunais, but this doesn't seem viable at all to me having this is a single reforge compared to the others

I'm curious, how much bonus radius does Kunai storm give on gloves? That's probably the most important one.
Do you mind testing how much radius is given per level?

I kind of want a list of reforge locations so we can see what's a very good combination to go by.

Weapon - Max Damage, Shadow Bind Duration, Others(Kunai Storm, Charging shuriken damage)?
Head - I don't know.
Chest - Kunai Storm Damage, Others?
Gloves - Kunai Storm Radius, Others?
Shoes - Shadow Bind Duration, Others?

Just so you all know, there's actually a type of mod (a features.xml.compiled edit) that can show the actual values reforges give numerically. It's a feature overseas so the mod turns the feature on in NA and adds translations to the descriptions.

Could probably just wait for somebody who knows how to mod this to read the various values. I'd offer to do it and look at y'all's items in equip view to see what's what per rank but I'm on Ruairi, unlike most, and I don't do much reforging.

Something to note since this thread has been made, if anybody is wondering.

These things seem to get an extremely high chance at low rolls. I always wondered why that conqueror crocodile step 6 perfected shuriken from JP we had a screenshot of stopped at 13 level shuriken max damage.

Also, after all the reforges I used, not a single line of shuriken charge splash damage ever appeared. The reforge pool is relatively small, and the reforges popping up isn't uncommon at all. It's just that they are pretty tiny rolls. That being said I wouldn't be surprised if shurikens can't actually get that reforge.

Here's what I did for all my reforges:

accessories: kunai storm damage
armor: kunai storm damage (alternatively explosive kunai damage)
weapon: shuriken max damage (alternatively max attack, or a skill of your choosing, or explosive kunai count)
gloves: kunai storm attack range (alternatively charging shuriken splash range or sakura abyss attack range)
shoes: shadow bind duration (alternatively shadow cloak duration if you're into that)
hat: nothing

You could also do something like get kunai storm attack range on weapon and use gloves for charging shuriken range if you're into that

There are no charging shuriken damage reforges in general. Only splash damage range increase

I got all my primary information from the wiki. I'm pretty sure it's either 1% per level or broken

Head - Have[CS Frag radius & Crisis radius]
Chest - Have[Blaze radius & CS Frag #] want Kunai storm damage or Kunai Storm radius(probably radius)
Gloves - Have[CS frag damage & Blaze damage] want Kunai storm radius
Shoes - Have Shadow Bind Duration

It's hard for me to decide if I should go for Kuani damage if there are only 2 slots for Kunai radius(Clothing and gloves). And if i reforge on glove i will lose cs frag damage. However that being said if i reforge chest i will lose cs fragment number

The reforges for ranged and Ninja are taking up the reforge spots both skill sets want (Gloves and chest). In the end i'll probably keep cs damage and reforge over the fragment number or blaze radius for Kunai storm radius.

What are you thoughts?

I didn't manage to see kunai storm radius on armor at all when I was reforging, though I didn't use nearly as many as I did on my weapon. If that's possible, I may or may not roll over my kunai storm damage for radius and roll over my glove radius for shuriken charge splash range. Weapons are likely not worth reforging unless a serious change happens to the max damage reforge. Head doesn't matter. I just made an entirely different set separate from my archery set, and threw the ninja reforges on it. It's an attack speed set (which is rather significant). If you want kunai storm radius on two pieces, keep in mind they will likely not stack with each other.

Don't reforge over fragment number, way too useful of a reforge.

Don't reforge over fragment number, way too useful of a reforge.

Yeah I have no issue with attack speed. I use CD helm and hawk boots with CD armor.
However I don't think attack speed really matters too much for ninja, but it helps a lot for gunner.

You guys are probably right about CS fragment number, but it makes me sad that I can't really do Ninja/Archery without sacrificing either the Fragment number or Kunai Radius.

The attack speed set makes a pretty huge difference for ninja, but unlike gunner where you're stepping from slow to very fast, the difference between the shurikens is fast and very fast, so it's not as big of a difference between different shurikens

A side note for this thread: The damage reforge for kunai storm definitely doesn't work and neither does the damage bonus from master title.
