A little help with enchanting...

  Hmm... So, *little story* I was trying to rank some skills and saw that it was getting harder because of my CP was getting higher, so I thought "Lemme see if I can buy a Jackal enchant, since I can't wear those Wizard Suit because I'm just 13yo." Got the enchant, but it's expired! No problem, lemme try to make some money and then buy the Removal thing (I forgot that they were going to give one today). Got the item, now remove the expiration. Done, everything happy and looking good... That's what I thought. So I began reading about the enchant skills and the enchant mechanic of the game and then I read about the need of the equipment having a previous enchantment to receive the enchant of a rank 9+ Enchant Scroll (are you guys understanding?). So I got a little lost in that part... I have right now a Jackal ES and the piece of equip needed, but I don't know how I can do the enchanting.
  Do I have to enchant the piece with a rank 5 enchantment? If someone can give me a hand here I would be grateful <3 (And if you guys don't understand just say, I'll try to explain better... Sorry, sometimes I forget how to english q)

  In other words, if a enchant scroll is past rA, you'll need to bridge it. This means that, any enchants, 9 or higher, will require the targeted item to already have a enchant on it that is at least one rank below it, or higher.

  Ya, you'll need a r5 bridge for a r4 enchant. The success rate of enchantment is the same regardless of enchant skill rank, it just affects % of dura lost on the scroll, and burning.
  
  Anyhow, I wouldn't recommend enchanting it. Just let your character age to 17, and buy another wizard suit with that enchant on it. Why you may ask? The chance of you successful making an outfit with that enchant is [UB]15.18%[/UB], assuming 200 int, thursday's bonus, and using ancient powders, with a r5 bridge (regardless of rank enchant). If a r6 or higher enchant fails, the item is destroyed as well.

  If you need high CP monsters for training, try shadow cast city SM in tara. Use higher difficulties for higher CP monsters. CP shouldn't be an issue right now, assuming that your profile level is up to date. xD My CP is ~1800-1900, and I've only recently started needing -CP gear.[/UB]

  For someone weak as me a CP gear would be really, really useful. I mean, attacking monster? Kay. Killing them? Kay, maybe I can do that. Surviving enough time to kill them and rank the needed skills? Mhmm... *die of potion poisoning* But I'll try :T_T:

  So with a r4 enchant, would you need to enchant it with scrolls that ar R9, 8, 7, 6 and 5 before being able to enchant it to r4? That sounds difficult.

  To get the ability to enchant a r4 scroll on an item you will need the item to have already had a rA, r9, r8, r7, r6, and a r5 enchant already on it and overwritten in that order, OR at least one of those enchants had "Enchant Enabled Regardless of Rank" on it which allows THAT SPECIFIC enchant to go on without bridging watsoever. The reason bridging can be so difficult sometimes is not only do you need to bridge the rank before it and so on and so forth but you also need to have an enchant of that specific rank able to go on that specific piece of gear.
  
  Now let me explain wat I mentioned before about enchant enabled regardless of rank. If the enchant scroll itself has those words written on it that means that you do not need to bridge THAT SPECIFIC ENCHANT SCROLL to put it on that item, which means if you have a r4 enchant with those words on it you can immediately attempt to stick it on your piece of gear without needing to bridge it first. Think of it just like a short cut to getting an enchant you need on. Also you can abuse these enchants by using a high rank scroll with those words on it to bridge an even higher rank scroll or any scroll really, because if lets say it is a r4 scroll that has those words on it you can stick it on and then stick something like a r6 scroll ontop of that one that does not have those words already on it since it is a r4 and you TECHNICALLY already bridged the r6 by having a scroll of r7 or higher on the item. This can work for any rank really and its quite nice to skipping the whole bridging process and potentially saving money/dura/time from having to bridge that item.
