So I've been thinking, in the later chapters in season 1, you're believed to see the death of Gwynn. However unlike other dead characters like Ingkells, or Ellis, her Npc avatar is grayed out in colhen and Rocheste.

In season 2, the pontiff's court is trying to get back into their little religious crusades, once again. After Tieve and Keaghan ascended as gods, the court felt that their power would be diminished after errin descended. Verafim, now elchulus, has complete dominion over the flow of time, and allows the pontiff and religious followers to sustain their memories. However, in order to bring about chaos and to regain their power, they need to ascend another god to bring ruin to the world that they couldn't establish for them and them alone. As a result, they need a sacrifice, so they'll use Gwynn, who barely avoided death to bring about the advent of Macha.

So as a result, Do you suppose will we see Gwynn become Macha later on in Season 2?

I think so, her jealousy of your character's growth, and her infatuation with keaghan/cichol, and bitterness could drive her to ascending as a god.

Looking back on previous discussions, someone saw a relation between mabi-arena's Macha and Gwynn from vindictus:

You've gotta be saying that because of the black clothes... I really don't see much of a resemblance between Mabinogi Arena's Macha and Mabinogi's Neamhain.

One thing I can't get is why is that Macha blonde. I mean, both Tieve and Mari in Mabinogi changed physically to match the image of deities they had become...

Not to mention Macha is often associated with the color red. There is nothing red in that picture, wings, hair, clothing, or anything.

Err, really? I know Verafim just mocked Keaghan for his arrogance and stupidity, but it never explicitly said/showed that Verafim became Elchulus.

I forget, aside from Mabi - Vindi's "connection" what contradictions did the storyline have?

Gwynn's name origin means "white" or "holy", and they never really confirmed her death in vindictus.

Season 2 has a lot of ties with Macha; the challenges, cromm cruache, and more.

Truth be told. We didn't check for pulse, and you wouldn't be able to see her breathing through that armour. Although it's quite hopeful and abstract, it is possible that she could have somehow survived that.

Very unlikely, though, all things considered.
