I happen to be really poor and i've been wondering if there are any good ways of making large profits with high ranked life skills. What would be a good life skill to rank, how would i go about about ranking it and how would i use it to make profit? Any help is appreciated!

Long long ago when Dark knights and giants ruled the lands Smithers and Tailors ruled the market but that was oh so long ago

Would i be able to make some profit on blacksmithing? For example, the wiki says i could purchase a blacksmith manual for a dustin silver knight armor for around less than 300k off fleta. The materials dont seem that expensive either. I dont know how much the armor is worth but i heard from somewhere its like, more than 1m. If i got r1 blacksmithing and did that, would it be good profit? How much would it even cost me to get to r1?
Also, eventually i'm gonna get R1 magic craft at endgame cause i want the languhuris chaser set. Is there a good way to get money off magic craft?

Only way to make money off of life skills at this point is to rank them as fast as you can right after release and make as many wanted items as you can before more people reach r1 as well (looking at you magic craft and engineering). Other than that wait for a new skillset to come out that introduces new weapons/armor and make them as fast as possible before the market gets flooded and/or gacha's ruin it.
It's unfortunate but mabinogi's skillsets have a very very small profit margin or non existant due to gachas ruining the market, and really the only reason to rank them for the most part is for stats and sometimes convenience.
Nobody buys dustin silver knight armors for 1m anymore unless they are just plain stupid, especially smithed ones since gacha spit out tons of x grade ones (which are unachievable by normal smithing).
Magic craft profit is very marginal and relies on rng for good rolls, but I THINK it can still achieve some form of profit but its not as much as you are probably looking for.

Basically what she said only thing to make ATM profit wise is the Kunais which its like day 4 and theyre already 200k on our server

An example of the inability to really sell dustin armors, when I was ranking up smithing I was able to sig one at r2 (which means the quality was higher than normally) and yet I ended up giving it up to someone because it would have just been a total waste to even attempt to sell it.

Purple hearts is probably your best bet, savage wands, and hermit staves but I'm not sure which are the best of all those. I didn't rank up magic craft because I had no reason to get those stats and had other people willing to craft things for me if I brought them the mats so im not too sure but its either those 3 or maybe mana bullets. I'm going to assume its purple hearts, but keep in mind the profit is nothing more than marginal and rng based.

constant gachas and events have ruined crafting in this game, the skills are mostly useless except for very special cases or end-game crafting, and of course if you want the stats they give. I wouldn't say to not do it, but I will say to not expect much from it.
I would actually suggest enchanting to be ranked up, if you're able to make some good enchanted items to resell it can be quite profitable. Especially these days with enchant expiration removals, people sell expired scrolls cheaper or sometimes even drop them, and gachas hand out decent or even good enchants like candy, you just need to burn them and put them on items that don't suck.

Shurikens have provided me with a decent amount of income from blacksmithing.
Other than that, I've maxed every life skill associated with dex, and haven't made 1 gold back from them

When MC was released the main money maker was to sell hermit staves and on the day merlin was released i made 40m from just selling hermit staves, that being said a gacha also came out with +6 r1 hermit staves so the hype for them died down as well as killing their price a lot. At this point in time a lot of people want high stat purple hearts so if you want to make money the best best is to go with purple hearts but at the same time it's also hard to sell them if you get bad rolls. Id say if you want stable income make staves or savage wands, but if you want to have a slightly better income make hearts.

From my experience, theses are some other ways to make money off life skills that haven't been mentioned (I won't talk about MC or Engineering since I've barely touched those)
1) Be good at the mini game. If you can successfully sig the items you make 95% of the time, you will make money. You can't get a sigged item through gacha. Some people just want a damn name on an item with good base stats for a decent price rather than obscenely expensive enchants and reforges.
2) Make desirable items from rare manuals. Key words are "desirable" and "rare." Knight lance = desirable item. Knight lance manual = rare. I sold my smithed lances for about 400-500k each on Mari sever several months ago for good profits. This also worked with bracers when fighter came out, but bracers are no longer desirable. I suspect Volc cylinders and Thames parts are the only other items that are still in this category. Spam Ciar and Jousting, and you'll be rich in no time xD
On a side note, if you are only interested in ranking life skills for profit, don't bother. Every guild has a r1 smith/talior/etc these days who have nothing better to do than slave over your production requests. Just get the mats, and I'm sure someone will make it for you free of charge (even in large quantities).
