Any tips on a beginner commercer? Special items to commerce and not to commerce, to and from, ya know, those things. Thanks

Try leveling up Tara, Bangor, and Tail first and just focus on saving up for wagon then an elephant.

Leveling up Tir Chonail is a good idea.
Don't forget Dunbarton and Port Cobh for the special goods as well.

The difficulty of bandits you face is based on...
A - The PURCHASE PRICE of your load in total. NOT the potential profit, the purchase price. If you're having trouble, buy cheaper goods that still have nice profit until you get stronger.
B - How far away you are from the origin point, though this matters less than A.

Always pay attention to where you are going. I get distracted often when I commerce, and always end up having to right bandits. That's valuable time lost; your goods might go down in value.
