Crash After Logging In

Hello,

I've recently gotten back into Mabinogi, and just earlier tonight, I finished downloading some sort of patch from 189 to 190, and now whenever I try and login after my second password, the screen for the character selection struggles to show up, then the entire thing crashes. I've tried endlessly to try and fix the problem, but nothing seems to work. Is anyone able to help me out here? I'd much appreciate it in advance of course.

If you have a /data/ folder in your mabinogi folder, rename it to something else and then see if the game runs properly.

If it still happens AND IF you have an ijl15.dat (which is a backup), then, delete ijl15.dll and rename ijl15.dat to ijl15.dll and delete dinput8.dll.

Well, I have the Steam version downloaded, but I run the game from the folder directly, but the main directory doesn't have a /data/ folder.
Also, the main folder doesn't have an ijl15.dat or a dinput8.dll but it does have an ijl15.dll.

Oh, a clean install from the previous? Then yeah nothing I said applies. Not sure what could cause this other than damaged pack files.

Okay, and Steam just got in a fresh update and I managed to verify some damaged files and I am now redownloading them at the moment, so I'll see if anything works for me on my end later.

Update: The files finished repairing, and upon the first time opening the client, the "Failed extraction of files" error pops up and forces me to close. Luckily on the second time, I was able to start the game, fully login, and start playing. I'll try and say anything here after I play it for a little while and if something happens in the process.
