An interesting Martial Art tournament discovery

  While training Hydra, I came across an intereting fact that I doubt many people know.
  
  The NPCs' CP changes with the round.
  Wave one, 4k cp;
  Wave two, 5k cp;
  Wave three, 6k cp;
  Wave four, 7k cp;
  Wave five, 8k cp;
  Wave six, 9k cp.
  Etc
  
  +1 wave = +1k cp.
  
  Wave 3.

  For those of you with CP reading mods, yes we do see 4k, but if you copy the NPC's name you actually see their real CP.
  
  I was training Hydra until I wasn't getting exp anymore, so I looked with copy/paste and that's how I found it.
  
  I will keep this post updated with their CP and wave number.

  Nice find. Looks like their CP is getting changed by a script run upon spawning. You still see the old CP because visual CP for entities (players and monsters) is set when your client loads them and is not set to update afterwards.
  
  You'll notice that when you use CP-changing gear normally, the labels on monsters don't change if they had already loaded when you didn't have the gear on. In the same vein, with CP-viewing mods your view of your own CP will actually lag behind as the client doesn't reload your own player entity under most circumstances, so if you gain a level and then change maps, people in the new map you load will see your updated CP while you'll still see your older one unless you reload your character, either by relogging (not just CCing) or having your control change via an RP mission or something I guess.

  Yep. I remember this because i hit a point when i was playing that i stopped gaining exp, and also noted when i was mastering pierrot and colossus when certain rounds gave prof and certain rounds didnt. I just never gave much thought to it.

  This is one of those instances where people without mods could have told you long ago that the CP increases with each wave. It is interesting that it does so in increments of +1k though.

  Substitute multiplicative factors for comparable additive bonuses.
