I am trying to take advantage of the free skill resets with the little time I have, lowering my CP and such (level 965). However, skills such as Crash Shot and Magic Mastery are a little trouble some.
How do you guys train Crash Shot quickly?
Is there a way to train Magic Mastery without intermediate spells?
Whats the best way to train magic skills in general (as fast a possible)?

You don't train it quickly. It's a skill that takes time and many of us have taken that much time to rank that skill. However, there are few places that makes it ideal for crash shot training. If you have a Jackal/Raccoon Cub clothing, you can wear that and train in Tara castle missions, where mobs tend to be crowded and have higher cp. After you fulfill splashing number of enemies as well as defeating certain enemies with splash, you can just train with zombies in Their Method.
As for Magic Mastery, yes, there is a way to train without intermediate magic. Is it worth it? No, because the method would require you to use skill training seals, which are really much better spent on other skills. With the effort it takes to get seal shop training seals, you're better off getting int magic.

Offering in Tail is a really good place but, I mainly use it to train Int. Magic, ranking the Mastery is quite hard. [S]stuck on r3 forever[/S]
Hopefully, one of these days I'll finish it.

You can rank magic mastery for ranks 5-1 without int magic if you do all the bolt magic reqs and do both the party healing and blaze kill requirements. For party healing, you don't actually need to restore hp with it, you can just stand next to a mana tunnel and spam it on yourself. Preferably your party healing is low ranked for the purpose of training magic mastery with it because of the lower mana cost. Of course, it would be a good idea to rank it whenever you decide to do cleric.

Crash shot is a bit tricky from rank 5 -> rank 1, a lot of the time you'll have to camp outside of Qilla to get the kills and the mp regen from the moongate.

Or they can just carry a few mp potions with them and spam it in tara shadow missions. I did it with the multi orb rooms that constantly spawn mobs unless u hit the orbs when they light up. I would simply stand in the corner and not hit the orbs and let the spawns keep coming.

:llama_cold: Not everyone is a billionaire, with more nx in their wallet than they can spend you know. It's way easier to just camp qilla for free, than to waste a million gold on mp pots that'll singly only give you enough mp for 6'ish shots.

What? Mp pots arent expensive and its much more efficient to not camp a place with spawns that tend to be spread out a ton. You can get like 10 stacks of mp 100s for like 200k and that alone will last you for most of the training of the skill along with trans and just general mp regen. 1 mp 100 potion lasts you 7-10 shots depending on ur rank and thats not even taking into account mp regen and potion lore.
And how does NX have anything at all to do with wat i explained?

Take advantage of Enduring Melody + Phantasmal Chorus if you have those ranked! I never had to use a single MP pot; even if those skills are low ranked for you, you should still use them to help with regeneration. Otherwise, yeah, you might need to train near mana tunnels or make your own pots if you don't want to waste gold.

I second the notion of Their Method for Crash Shot training. Mindless spamming is great when it's on something slow (or even stuck) that won't die anytime soon. I actually ended up completing the attack/defeat several enemies requirement in the same mission, since you don't actually have to kill monsters for it to count towards defeats. If I needed more than 4, I'd just lure another zombie from a nearby group over to the one I was working on.
Good luck training. =)

It's the idea and expression behind what I said, because you're always placing your own experiences and abilities as example's over everyone elses when they obviously aren't as well off on mabi than others. No offence. :llama_nomnom:
I mean, he's under lv 1k, he can probably do hardmode, maybe he can't, but most newer players can't obtain large amounts of gold like it's nothing.
That's why, instead of emptying his wallet on mp pots, he could just camp qilla's gate for 5 mp regen per second, and continue where he left off for the killing reqs.

He doesnt need to do hm, I never mentioned HM as the only option. And even if hes dirt poor he can make mp 100's pretty easily if he ranks up potion making a bit....
I am not substituting my own experiences, I am giving wats more efficient in lieu of wat you suggested that even a level 200 player could do given enough motivation.
