When does Otakon usually take place and where? Looking at going to another Anime convention next year. Took a break this year as too many trips going on for my tastes...

I'm a guy who likes to plan for this kind of thing at least 6 months in advance >.>

I had a few friends who went, but I don't think I ever could because of distance. I can only ever really go to Fanime or Yaoicon.

I feel your pain, I literally waited a decade+ to attend Otakon.

The con experience is amazing, you're surrounded with people that are as nerdy and fanboy/girlish as you are so it's literally a whole new world of social interaction. And of course there's so much stuff to do that it's actually impossible to do it all, especially at a massive con like Otakon.
