Robin Williams, the Academy Award winner and comic supernova whose explosions of pop culture riffs and impressions dazzled audiences for decades and made him a gleamy-eyed laureate for the Information Age, died Monday in an apparent suicide. He was 63.
Williams was pronounced dead at his home in California on Monday, according to the sheriff’s office in Marin County, north of San Francisco. The sheriff’s office said a preliminary investigation shows the cause of death to be a suicide due to asphyxia.

Forgive me as I express all of these feels...
:llama_cry2:
Robin Williams was my idol; he was bipolar and manic, but yet managed to make something of himself despite, or perhaps in spite of all of that, while still doing things that he loved. I greatly desired the opportunity to meet him. He's definitely going to be missed, and certainly never replaced in the hearts of those whom he brought smiles to.
I'm going to go cry into my pillow now.

I find it a bit more ridiculous how my friends didn't have a damn clue who Robin Williams was and now i'm seeing stuff blasted over FB and whatnot saying "Like this if you're gonna miss him." I'm pretty sure everyone WHO knows him will and I don't need to be seeing this crap. I even asked them if they knew what Jumanji was and they had no freaking clue....I can only hope for a better day where people can not stop stupid for once.
