It's not uncommon for comedians to have depression.

Celebrate his life like they did with Jim Henson.

I don't really agree that crying over someone is spitting them in the face in any scenario though. It tells them, or would if they could see it, that they were highly valued, which means that whatever they did, they did right. If you can't help it, cry.

Guess I'll re-watch my favorite (out of those I've seen) Robin Williams movie in his honor,
Bicentennial Man.

Oh damn I remember watching that movie. Was amazing when my Chinese teacher took us to see it (When I was in chinese middle school). In fact after the movie was over, we went back to curriculum, I thought we were discussing the movie and raised my hand and talked about the movie lol. My teacher was like "you do realize the movie was over right?" hahaha.

That commercial was where I learned he named his daughter Zelda, and my respect for him which was already high went out of the roof and blast off like team rocket.

Robin Williams was suffering from Bipolar disorder. I can't imagine the kind of depression he had to lead himself to suicide. I myself suffer from Bipolar disorder as well. The constant mood swings, from happy then to just completely depressed. It's irritating, it's all just confusing.
