The Divine Knights update I keep reading about. Apparently it will add divine weapons, though no actual info was given on these yet, but my guess is that is what you showed in that short video.
At the very least, don't remember anything like that from SAO anime ;)

That's from "G19", it's official KR material, but is not fully out in KR yet, check the Foreign Content subforum for more info.

I'm sorry to say that can't be part of the summer event, because they're still tweaking it in the KR test servers. Whatever Korea doesn't have sure as hell isn't going come out in NA.

I think its like G19 so we also still need to finish the second part of G18 and maybe Treasure Hunter before we get that update anyway.

I've seen speculation that it'll come out December this year or sometime next year. :c
