Debating between two 15.4" Retina Mac Book Pros: early 2013 vs late 2013

I don't know computers well, but the early 2013 uses ivy bridge and the late 2013 uses has well.

I'm going to college a year from now so I need it to last 5-6 years. I need it to be able to run adobe ps and Adobe premiere, the game I will play the most is probably minecraft, but I most likely won't be gaming at all. I'm looking for a Mac book that will be great for productivity.

Which of these two is the better choice?

Other than that a macbook is a macbook. If you need it to last 6 years I suggest a ton of RAM and an SSD and make sure to get your apple care registered for as long as possible, I doubt it will cover 6 years, probably 3 tops. So after 3 years you have to pray to the ghost of Steve Jobs that it doesn't break.

I believe that the retina MacBook pros come with SSD's installed? Also I was under the impression that Mac books were known for their longevity...

Is there any laptop that can last me 5-6 years?

NVIDIA graphics cards don't have a great track rating when it comes to longevity. Grab the one with the Intel Iris Pro integrated GPU, as it's more likely to live longer.
