Thoughts on SAO Event

  The current dungeon event is really grindy, just like that valentines day cake event from two years ago for that gesture coupon. At least it helps pass the time, but otherwise its meh. At least Lich isn't immune from what I've heard.
  
  I have a lot of negative opinion on it though:
  -What the hell happened to Agil or Leafa or any of those ALO characters or even Sinon? Why are there no Silicia or Klein or Nishida clothes and such, or even a Pina flying puppet? Honestly it feels like they neglected a lot of characters, only centralizing on the few.
  -Too few events. They could have done something like search for the Pneuma Flower, fight the SAO bosses, race to the World Tree, etc. It's disappointing.
  -Hot time Yui Flying Puppet expiring. I don't need to explain this, do I?
  -Fishing event. If I don't pull out a Lungfish and fight it, I will be very disappointed.
  -Heathcliff fight. He has knockdown/stun immunity, takes 1 damage, and has 100 HP, exactly like the Macha fight except he swings his sword at you. It's really lame and boring.

  Oh but really, yeah there's not much to do with just the Dungeon event, and only 2 Zones unlocked (as of right now).
  
  Prizes are too great for now, aside from the 2nd titles, which not all are really useful, though I guess the Pneuma Flowers are neat.
  They're like what I'd imagine "Nao Feathers" would be, but without the blessing part.
  
  But at least it's making it easier to get up to page 7 AR. :V

  Funny thing, Zone 1 Fiodh drops AR 9. And I bet Zone 3 Alby drops AR 8.

  I appreciate and see the event as a good opportunity to create quick and cheap combo cards that I wouldn't have otherwise considered, though.

  [UB]I'm a fan of SAO, so I do enjoy this event. Although, I have to say, this event attracts too many [S]weeaboos[/S] anime lovers. I'm seeing Kiritos, Asunas, Healthcliffs, and Lizbeths everywhere I go. It makes me lag a bit.
  
  Anyhow, as for the event, I'm a fan of new 2nd titles. I love the combo cards too. They may have low percentages, but it's better than nothing.
  So far, I made a firebolt x5 combo card, and hailstorm x5 combo card. Near the end of the event, I will make another one so I can still have one 30 days after the event is over.
  
  What I enjoy most from this event is the ALO Asuna 2nd title. If it had not existed, who knows how much I would be spending, and how long I would be looking for an Adniel or a Scathach 2nd title. ALO Asuna gives +40 Magic Attack, and 2% Bolt dmg, which makes it the best 2nd title out there.
  
  If I have time, I may grab a pina 2nd title as well. [/UB]

  Nothing entices me to do this event, since i will never mage, the second title does not appear to me.
  
  However i do appreciate some things about the event, anything that motivates the server to do things is always welcome.

  This event sure does make me wish that the all non-gold combo card drops came in the form of skill pieces, but oh well, that's part of what makes the dungeon event special.

  I'm not happy that DevCAT dropped the Combo Card system. The last skillset that had combo cards were fighter, then they completely dropped it and didn't include puppet, gunner, fighter, hidden, or ace.

  I personally am ok with this because of how annoying it is to make a good combo card atm. Adding all those skillsets into the rng mix will make it extremely difficult and costly to make a good combo card for the pre existing skillsets. They should just revamp the entire system if they want to add all of those skillsets in too.

  Don't really like the event that much. I had high expectations and thought it might be knida fun but its meh. I just decided to just make a combo card then do my normal routine.

  Well, I rather like the event overall.
  Dungeons are populated once again (a bit too much even, but that's another story). I guess it'll also make some of non-endgame players cooperate to clear the higher zones. Clearing a zone is also an effort of whole server, not just single party. Personally, I'm trying to collect the titles while checking how far can I go into the zones and testing out the combo cards.
  Looking forward to fishing event too. Not really aiming for a Lungfish, but hoping to get something interesting.
  And what's more, there's more people that are actually playing instead of just standing there and looking... as original as snowman in winter.
  
  On the other hand, the way they are handling the Yui Giveaway was a bit of a turn off...
  
  As for other things, being rather neutral.

  No thinking. Just bit my lip and went on spamming to get all secondary titles.
  (made money off grinding up all those firewood I collected in Mass and sold all leftover tickets for pretty darn good price)

  Without puppet combo cards, the dungeon spamming is entirely pointless to Eiry.
  The SAO Asuna title and Asuna's outfit were nice purchases; Eiry'll be selling the outfit after the event and the title is Eiry's new title. Faster puppets yay!
  
  Yui Giveaway is a huge disappointment, and Eiry's speaking as someone who has an Odd-Eye Support. A free puppet with no powers is not worth an expiration.
  
  The gacha is the only thing to be remotely excited for, and Eiry's just gonna get her Yui AI doll and be done with it.
  
  All in all, pretty mediocre event. Good for premium players and people who use combo card-enabled talents only.
