[UB]Hi all.
Several weeks ago, I was told that both the firebolt and icebolt enchantments on the hebona set apply to fusion bolt. The problem is that I wasn't aware of this back when I was buying my set. The result of this is that my hebona set only has the firebolt enchantment.
Here's my situation: I've been cutting down on my cc firebolt usage (burns durability too fast), and use fusion bolt more. It would be a lot more beneficial for me to have both the set effects rather than just one.
The main issue of selling my set is that I've already spent a large sum of gold reforging two of the parts. I also slapped on some arguably decent enchants on them. Even if I sell them, I won't get what I invested back (I have very bad luck. It took me 4M+ to get a rank up to r2).
My options are to:
1. Sell my set and replace it with new parts.
Pros: More damage, and save money in the future if I decide to switch later.
Cons: Risk enchants once again. (First 3/3 Circlet I had was destroyed by a dexterity enchant) Reforging from scratch again.
2. Sell my set and don't replace it.
Pros: I can use my mana reduction set instead. (Hat+Shoes)
Cons: My fusion bolt won't do that much. My mana reduction set is only two pieces, but both suffixes (on hats and shoes) are taken for mana magician enchants.
3. Don't sell.
Pros: I won't have to do anything.
Cons: I'll probably end up switching later on, which will cost me more since I'm currently in the process of reforging.

I think option 2 looks like it's my best bet. I rarely see any mages using hebona sets anyhow. Compare to my int and adv magic usage, my bolt magic usage seems minimal. I'll have my handgear slot open, so I can just buy a pair of r1 gloves and reforge from there. (How much do they cost?) Additionally, I can buy a x graded broad brimmed feather hat so i'll have one of the suffixes open.
I'm pretty convinced that I'll sell my set peices, so I'm a bit curious to how much I can sell these for:

It sucks that your stuff is already enchanted and reforged, though it should fetch a greater price in the markets. The Hebona Set Effect is actually quite bad. It doesn't provide the +15% damage bonus to Firebolt and Icebolt (as stated) once you've invested in mastery skills.
I would do the following:
1. Sell all of that stuff
2. Obtain Royal Knight Armor
3. Obtain Karis Wizard Shoes/Hat
4. Obtain Rosemary Gloves
That will give you a massive amount of auto-defense, mana reduction, and a huge increase to your ice magic damage.

[UB]I'm a bit confused. The damage bonus doesn't stack with masteries? All my magic related masteries are rank 1 so..
Thanks for the advice. I've been using an upgraded RK armor, and I have a hat/shoes mana reduction set. The problem is that there's no way I'll have enough for a pair of rosemary gloves. How much are they? 30M? [/UB]

1. Get rid of heboner. It's not actually +15% damage like people believe, it's BARELY 5% damage because of how the bonus is added to the formula.
Okay, now that you got rid of that overpriced crap, you can get the following in exchange for that 5% firebolt damage:
1. +20% speed for 420blazeit (MEGA USEFUL), firebolt spam, commerce, etc by being able to use fleet feet instead of heboner.
2. +~12% overall Hailstorm/Ice Spear damage by being able to use the ugly green gloves.
3. +12 magic attack OR easily obtainable r1 reforge by being able to use the WD circlet or one of those r1 wigs.
4. +10% mana reduction with a couple mana witch enchants/karis stuff.
5. +whatever crit/magic attack from risky enchants because you can blow up whatever you want instead of being restricted to expensive/rare heboners.
5a. You can give up on one of the above and also use heavy armor like Kaeporo suggested, but heavy armor is yucky.
Whatever you do, just get rid of the heboner while uninformed people still think it's worth paying 7m+ for.

The Hebona Set Effect stacks, albeit poorly.
They're very expensive. Fortunately/unfortunately, they're pretty much the only way for a mage to further increase their damage output through equipment.

Actually, Oberynn pointed out something that I forgot. Mages don't really obtain additional damage from their equipment, so they can focus on other equipment bonuses.
Unfortunately, you can't have both mana reduction and stamina reduction alongside rosemary gloves. That would otherwise help with managing spell walk.
1. Mana Witch Broad-brimmed Feather Hat (Mana Reduction +7)
2. Royal Knight Armor (Auto-defense)
3. Rosemary Gloves (Ice Damage) *when available
4. Mana Sorcerer Fleet Feet (Movement Speed*, Mana Reduction +3)
5. Mana Conjurer/Engineer's Savage Fire Wand/Spirit Fire Wand/Hermit Staff
*stackable
You can free up one of those enchant slots by landing Mana Conjurer on your weapon, though you might prefer Engineer's for the repair cost modifier.
I'm also fairly certain that R6 bests S6 once you can consistently hold over 500 magic attack without special upgrade bonuses. No idea how you would pull that off but it's something to think about.

[UB]Oh. I see.
Thank you for the information. I'll just sell the hebona set, and I'll use a RK+Mana Reduction hat+shoes.
And whenver I get the money to, I'll grab a pair of rosemary gloves.[/UB]
EDIT:
If possible, could I have a general price I can sell the 3 pieces I listed in the original post? I'll just sell them in Belvast. Thanks.

Might as well keep the gloves and shoes since they're already r2. Circlet could grab a decent amount, but the robe is the one that will give you tons of shekels.
While we're on equipment sets, seeing as you're around my lv range I'd advise you to spam critical on everything you can if you plan to use hail/firebolt/fusion. While critical is useless when you're lv 9001+ like Kaeporo, when you're barely 2k it is the most important equipment stat as a mage because you're not going to be wasting 5k AP on crit skills any time soon. It's also pretty easy to get.
You could shoot for something like:
Head: r1 wig (300k) enchanted with Vine (+10 crit, 150k) Smart (+9 crit, +15 int, ancient drop) or Poacher (+11 crit, free IS'ing shyllien).
Body: Restored (+17 crit, pain to get) or Polished (+4 crit, alby basic hm) Assault (+8 crit, free IS'ing shyllien) Karis because dat mana reduction and heavy armor is for scrubs.
Shoes: Solo (+10 crit, free and ez if you know how to get it) or Polished Assault Karis/Fleet Feet. Fleet feet are extremely worth the investment if you IS -> Blaze or are a slow human peasant in general.
Gloves: Mana Hammer (+5 MA, ancient drop) Assault on some disposable gloves or Solo/Polished Assault on more valuable rosemary or r1 gloves.
Accessories: Surprising/Fixed Mana Witch for maximum mana reduc and crit.
Polished/Steam/Synergy Professor Rebis is also good for loads of firebolt crit. You can eventually switch to holy eagle mask if you get one, since that can actually get magic attack reforge unlike rebis.

[UB]I see. Thank you once again.
I was actually planing to keep the robe since I'm a scruby human that doesn't have style tab (and use heavy armor b/c I am squishy as well). I'll try to get some more critical enchants, and slap them on my equipment. I'll overprice the r2 stuff and hopefully someone will make a decent offer, since I can't really ,make good use of them at this point. Right now, I have ~80 critical with my original mana reduction set and hermit, so I'll plan to find a vine ES, which will bring me ~90%. I'll also look for some of the enchants you listed.
Btw, I don't remember what was the critical you need to maintain a 30% crit rate against most mobs in the game. Was it ~130ish? [/UB]

130% should cover most tara/taill stuff.
150% covers most things in general.
160~170% is ideal since you cover anything that matters, and your partymate's battlefield will do the rest. You can probably just use other skills that ignore prot for crit chance after this point anyway.
With the set I listed and Lizard Deadly staff you're pretty much set with 160%+ crit for hail/firebolt though, even if you have 0 crit skills ranked like me.
