Now the question is how do they plan to enforce this. What if a person disconnects, and the party leader changes the number from like 6->5 making the "party full" how would this work?
Unlike Dungeons, Shadow Missions are Party Quest-based. That being said, the party is locked when you enter the Party Quest/Mission, meaning you can't increase/decrease the limit, and I don't think you can expel people from the party.
On the other hand, Parties have a minor role in Dungeons, and that is that people who were in the initial party when they enter a dungeon will get the end chests (if they are on the floor at the time) of the dungeon boss's death, regardless of if they're in the party or not. At the minute, you SHOULD (not sure) be able to disconnect, and reenter a Normal-type dungeon if a party member is still in it, and still get the end chest reward. All that would need to be done is something similar for passes. But how would you reenter a dungeon/mission after you disconnect? Talk to an NPC? Get a ghost-pass like in G1 final?
A ghost pass in G3 final would have been a life saver. When Genesis first came out, I had to do G3 final four times. Two of the times I disconnected, and two of the times I was one or two rooms away from the boss on the last floor. The third time I got kicked out for an unscheduled maint. . .
