question about hero card and talent levels.

Anybody know for sure whether or not the skill ranks gained from rebirthing into a hero (Starlet, Vates, ect...) are counted as exp for your talent levels?

What confuses me is that you said "skill ranks". As far as I know, rebirthing into a hero talent will only provide the extra stat bonus per level, the hero skills associated with that ace talent, skill training bonus, base stats, and nothing else. You'll gain the badge if you use a elite or a hero card.[/UB]

Let me clarify just to make sure.

Lets say I wanted to become a master level puppeteer but all of my puppeteer skills are currently F.
According to the wiki, if I rebirth into a Starlet using an Elite Hero Creation card all of my puppeteer skills will become rank A or higher.

Will I now be that much closer to having the master level puppeteer talent?
I just read somewhere that using this method may not give the talent experience/levels I would have gotten if I trained the skills normally.

[UB]Your skills will not rank up. Those ranked skills are for new hero card characters, not a rebirth. [/UB]

Rebirthing with Pon to choose an Ace talent on an existing character will give you a smaller number of skills, but those are Novice or F.
