can't see ancient fragments

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. i noticed that i can't see ancient fragments while i was running an SM with friends. they told me that i was leaving fragments on the ground but i couldn't see them. i had one of them try to trade it to me, but my client crashed as they put it in the window. i tried to manual patch, but it says my client is up to date... anyone know what to do?
