I'm just wondering which generations people here like and dislike.
Personally, I love Generation 12: Return of the Hero because..........god fights, nuff said.
Also, I don't like Generation 3: Dark Knight because there are too many dungeons and Baol Infiltration. :shoe:

Don't have a favorite, because I actually don't like all of them for many reasons:
-NPCs treat us like shit.
-NPCs frequently somehow overpower us, regardless of our Demigod and Brionac.
-Cliche storyline.
-Etc. etc.

G12's god fights and RPs and such were effing awesome. Timing teleportation to avoid the shots, etc.
G13 was... less annoying than the previous ones. I actually enjoyed it.
G14 was even better, less annoyance, more straightforward, less beating around the bush.
G18 ran smooth for the most part. I liked the toggled NPCs and instanced missions.
I kind of wish they'd go back and redo the older gens to run like G18 did, tech-wise.

Favorite: G12, definitely. Would love to have a chance to redo finale. Saga isn't too bad either.
Lest favorite: Hmm... I guess whole Shakespeare chapter was kind of lacking...

Thos I is all the Saga. Too much talk and run around. Not enough fighting with your char. RP is meh unless the character you play is OP (Dowra RP for example).

I quite enjoyed the Shakespeare generations. I had a lot of fun with them. I also still love G1 just because it reminds me of the good old days when the whole game was still new to me.
Dislike G3 the most because it's just soloing dungeons mostly.

Favorite Gens: G1 (pre-revamp), G3 (pre-revamp), G10, G11. Major storyline points that grabbed me. Alas, with C4+ they might as well not have existed. Also, screw ret-conning.
Least Favorite: G18. Dowra and Akule alone aren't enough to make up for Millia, Macha[S]'s forehead[/S], or making Ruairi's judgment significantly poorer than it already is, and I get the feeling the Aces are only going to make it worse once they actually get dialogue...
I'm really, really hoping G19 might turn things around.

Hamlet (G13) is my favourite so far. I like how it's so much different from previous generations, Avon looks gorgeous and pre-rendered voiced cutscenes are something that should be brought back. And I like Shakespeare's plays in general.
Least favourite though... every gen I've played had some good parts but I'd say Saga was a little bit too random to my liking.

Yea I hate g11 for the same reason. My favorites are g9 and g13.
