Divine Knights = Three Lost Warriors?

A friend showed this to me. Although it's edited (the middle knight's hair matching Ruairi's color and the right knight having glasses), the G1 Lost Warriors and the G19 Divine Knights resemble each other too greatly.

COINCIDENCE?!

The resemblance is minor, likely just a reflection of the preference for certain character designs as main characters by either the artists or director imo

They still have nothing to do with each other. Similiar appearances happen often, just look at many Famous Manga/Animes, Their Main characters ofter resemble the Main characters of other series by the same artist.

There's a difference between speculation and rumor. Rumor says "This is that," speculation says "this could be." One is wrong to do, the other is inquiry and wonder. There is nothing wrong with speculation, if a reader mistakes speculation as fact, then the reader is creating the rumor, not the person speculating. The OP of this thread is clearly speculating, pointing out a possible similarity, not saying they are the same people. I see nothing wrong with this.

I do think there is a resemblance (speaking purely appearance wise, do not know personality), but that may end there. I mean, Cessair's Heart and Macha look nearly identical, yet they never brought that up again (as far as I know) and just passed right by the subject without any explanation.

I almost forgot the subject of Cessair's Heart and Macha's appearances being too identical... It's too bad it became one of those unsolved mysteries left by Saga.
