Assuming I were new to mabi as of today I'd like to know about dragon raids. Mainly desert and prairie since even with crap damage if you just smash it and pay attention you can earn good exp and gold for a newbie. Would not waste time trying to do anything else.
The raid system huh. I can see Desert or Prairie Dragon being a fun little thing to do as a newbie, but stuff like White/Black Dragon would be just crazy.
Thanks Osay.~
Rebirth.
I learned it soon but still, I wasted a good 2-3 weeks.
I'm glad you figured it out quickly then! Hehe ^ ^
It's not quite what I would have wanted to know, but what I would have wanted to have. It's stupidly easy to level up now, I remember getting to lvl 30 per rebirth. And no, not lvl 30/x. There was no exploration.
It's ridiculously easy to level up now, not to mention ridiculously easy to make gold.
Oh yes ... the EXP gain was certainly lower. I remember that the "getting to level 50 at age 10" title was quite the big deal.
mechanics like windmill resetting aggro, and stuff. Most people I meet still don't know how the game works.
Windmill resetting aggro - that's important to note, especially for Field bosses. Thank you!
You misunderstood.
There are a lot of features in the game that isn't mentioned in the beginner tutorial, but opens up as you go through the story and explore the world.
It would seem like that is what the developers of the game intended.
Mabinogi isn't a linear develop MMORPG like a lot of modern MMORPG nowadays.
Oh - apologies for misunderstanding.
I am aware of many game features not being mentioned in the beginner tutorial, I don't want everything to be jam packed into the beginning.
Maybe it is just me - but there are some game features that I never thought about doing until my friends showed me them. Or they convinced me that I could indeed handle it.
The first thing that comes to my mind is Commerce, I first started commercing with my friends - I never would have started that by myself. Or raids. Or even doing Exploration consistently.
Does anyone else feel this way or is it just a personal quirk of mine?
