CDA (Human) Body vs Royal Diamond Patterned Leather Armor?

So I was told quite a while back that for an end game gear for human fighter(light armor) should be Royal Diamond Patterned Leather Armor because of "its defense rate". But, would CDA be better because of the set buff it gives?

Honestly the defensive stats from something like those isnt incredibly noticeable. In the end I would go with pieces that are more financially easy to deal with, like if u intend to reforge I would go with pre r1 pieces since its NORMALLY much cheaper than reforging it urself. The one thing I wouldnt go for is r1 heavy armor since it hurts your damage too much.

Only for gunner. The attack speed buff is otherwise negligible, especially for fighter. Fighter skills are based on the chain skills, not normal attacks. Why would you need speed buff here? The buff doesn't even affect the chain skills.

Speed buff doesnt affect fighter skills as far as I know. The speed buff is only useful for something like Way of the Gun and normal gun spam and maybe barely for range spam (but u should be wearing bohemian for range anyways).

What I personally did for gunner was use Automatic on my dowras and put viscount with 2 speed roll on my dark knight boots. That same set would work perfectly for fighter as well since it had drop kick damage reforge, and my clothing had spinning uppercut damage reforge.

Min-max wise you could go the extremely expensive route and get languhiris chaser armor for the att speed and forget automatic on ur guns but I'm not that into guns to go that far :/

I would personally recommend you get pre r1 pieces and then work around them. For gunner you can put automatic on ur guns and get either hawk or viscount for the extra 2 att speed on shoes depending on what type of shoe they are. As long as the set isnt heavy armor it can work with both fighter and gunner. You could get Dark Knight boots that are r1 because they were released from the gacha somewhat recently, get dark knight guantlets that are r1 for the same reason, you could get a very cheap r1 wig for your head piece, and honestly the chest piece doesnt matter a whole lot since most reforges kinda suck on that. That set would work for both gunner and fighter.

For fighter you can get spinning uppercut damage and some other meh reforges but its really not that important for fighter.

End-game for a Human would be the Bohemian Set (melee/range damage). Full max damage enchants. Gamyu is an alternative, though future enchants will render it outclassed.

If you only use magic, Royal Knight Armor has the best auto-defense. Pair it with rosemary gloves, fleet feet, and a karis hat alongside mana reduction enchants.

If you primarily use alchemy, Cressida provides a damage bonus to three offensive skills.

If you only use melee, Thames is a viable option. I would, however, question why you're playing a Human.

If you only use gunslinger, chinese dragon is a viable option. That frees up the auto slot on your guns and justifies Taunes MK3 over Dowra SE.

If you want to skip merrily along to end-game pick up pre-reforged equipment. You'll miss out on set effects but you will save a ton of god damn money.
