Best 2h sword non ego

What's the best 2h sword, Should i get one that can be reforged or not? I don't really know swords well and idk if it would be better to get a hlc and upgrade it or say buy a krutta or black dragon knight sword or why it would be better. Any thoughts on it would be much appreciated.

Best? Bhafel Slayer. Realistic? Highlander Claymore. Bhafel slayer requires a black dragon heart which is ridiculously expensive and really not worth it for a 2h. Highlander claymores are the next best due to the many r1 reforged ones and it has the best stats of all the other 2h's. But in the end 2h's are kind of obsolete and I would recommend you get a lance if you want a 2h weapon but thats up to you.

BDK's Swords aren't really that good. They're like beam swords. They're toys that fall short mid game. The overall DPS increase from red upgrades will make the difference.

I would recommend buying a pre-reforged r1 HLC if you plan on using a 2h sword.
Risky Option: r5/r6 Lich Crocodile HLC with ele 6 reforge (or dual ele's)
Safe Option: r5/r6 Untamed Violent HLC with ele 6 reforge (or dual ele's)

However, the better option is lances.
Risky Option: r5/r6 Secret 67th Floor Knight Lance with ele 6 or dual ele's (9 Piercing)
Safe Option: r5/r6 Sieged Penetrating Knight Lance with ele 6 or dual ele's (Gacha poops this out)

EDIT: Just making sure, I meant the gacha poops those pre-enchanted lances out, not with the special upgrade and reforges.

Is 67th worth it with the repair cost? never enchanted my weapons alot so wasn't sure.

Don't forget 67th floor is good for HLC and 2h's as well even without the piercing. It has the highest max compared to crocodile and its easier to enchant due to bridging process for crocodile all u have to worry about is destroying it, which with r1 hlc's isnt that big a deal since they are pretty common.

@Perithion It's only worth it if u can afford the repair costs. I would look into the repair costs and how much money u can make weekly to determine if its right for you.

Since you said that you don't enchant much, I want you to know that failing an enchant that is rank 6 or higher will destroy the weapon. What I listed as risky options are essentially the 2nd best option (and most realistic) "end game" weapon for those particular types. You don't need to go with them, since they'll cost you a fortune to make.

May I ask your ttl? I may be able to give better advise on weapon choice based on your level.

You're around my level, so I'm going to assume that you can make around the same amount as me. (I don't make much, I just burn them off with reforges and special upgrades)

If you plan on using a HLC:
Depending on your budget, it may be a good idea to grab a 67th floor enchant since prices have gone down a bit (sold my last one for 1.5M). This will take a few attempts, since the success rate of r4's is 26% with elite powder or 33% with ancient powder (assuming Thursday's bonus + 200 int) You'll need to find yourself a r1 enchanter (can attempt 20 times with the same scroll), and prepare a few r1 HLC. Since r1 enchanters are very abundant these days, most of them do not charge (may be nice to give some gold in return for their time and service though). You can enchant untamed on it later, since 67th floor is the hard part. Repair with 98% is @ 22k per point.

If you can't afford this, just go with a r1 Untamed Violent HLC, which is significantly easier to make (both rA enchants). After the enchanting process, just use the sword normally and upgrade it for max attack. Special upgrades are a bit expensive, so either stop at r3 or r5 depending on your budget. Reforge from there on (or anytime if you don't plan on r6'ing it) for ele 6 or dual ele's.

If you plan on using lances (better option),
Just buy one of those Sieged Penetrating Knight Lance if you cannot afford 67th floor enchant's repair cost/attempting enchant/the scroll price. Making a Secret 67th floor Knight Lance is very difficult.
-r3/r5/r6 depending on your budget. Reforge for ele 6 or dual ele's.

If you're shitting out money, you can make a 67th floor Bhafel Slayer for the lolzy 5 piercing level (yes, the piercing does increase for this sword due to the fact that the sword has base piercing).

Otherwise, HLC is your best bet if you plan to use efficient sword. Less efficient but otherwise a bit better would be Dragon Fang. However, note that even though they're cheap to get, they're harder to come by these days, and there have been very limited pre-reforged ones (only rank 2) before.

However, your best bet end game melee weapon? Secret 67th floor's Knight Lance, unless you're willing to pay the 100k repair points for demonic lance.

It increases damage starting at level 2 elemental.

However, harder dungeons have monsters immune to this reforge. The trend is that the new stuff will be immune to these stuff.

Elemental works in places where you can still one shot monsters without the elemental if you have enough stats.

Each level except for level 1 increases damage by 11.1% on non-ele immune mobs that is a different element from said reforge.
For example:
Ice 6 increases damage on all fire/lightning/neutral mobs by 55.5%, while decreasing damage on ice by said amount.
Fire 3 increases damage on all lightning/ice/neutral mobs by 22.2% while decreasing damage on fire mobs by said amount. [/UB]

nope, if you you get one element u should keep it as long as its high enough to be of any use since elementals are quite rare. It might actually be a decent idea to start at r2 and try and get double ele 4 since double ele's and normal ele's are much more common than at r1 and a double ele 4 isnt toooo out there and its better than ele 6 at r1.
