Do you cry while watching sad movies or TV shows?

  I know when I'm around other people I shut down a bit, try not to feel anything at all. When I was watching The Walking Dead the first time around it was with my boyfriend, and I wouldn't allow myself to really feel what the producers wanted me to feel while watching it. I'm rewatching it before the new season airs in October and Lori's death fucking tore me apart.
  
  Didn't shed a tear until season 3 episode 4
  Last thing she was saying while hugging Carl like
  "You're smart, and strong, and so brave. You're the best thing I ever made. I love you"

  I cried like a little bitch, especially Rick's reaction when seeing Maggie with the Judith and saying "Wh- Where is she?"

  I watched Titanic alone, too. Tear fest, and I fell in love with a fictional character which is fucking great.

  I normally only cry when I either have a connection to the character established and they died in a dramatic way or if there's a heartwarmingly happy ending for a character I have an established connection with. In the end I need a connection with the character to cry....

  I never cry in front of another person, which I think makes me cry even more easily when alone. Oddly enough I feel more of a connection with fictional characters, and am more likely to cry about something in an anime than a person dying in real life.

  When I'm alone I silently sob, swallowing my tears. Depending on who I'm with, if I ever wathc movies with someone else, I try not tos how anything. Tpyical retarded male stuff. But sometimes, like when Lee or Duck died in TWD Season 1 (game) or the ending scene of Stalingrad (German war movie) where the two are sitting in the snow, one giving a last monologue about how it is in the desert to his already dead comrade before succumbing to the cold himself, it's pretty hard not to actually cry.
  
  I couldn't play WWII games for a year or more after watching this movie.

  I've never cried to a movie but I HAVE teared up and usually it takes a lot for me to even get that far. I think the closest thing to make me cry when watching a show was the ending to Angel Beats.
