C..Can you take the stuff from the trash..? If so that sounds like a good job.
Not if you want to get fired, because people take advantage of it otherwise.
Sometimes you can if you fill out the paperwork, and that's if the postal service itself throws away old and useless things.

I've never ridden a bike. Don't know how.

Me neither. Don't think I'll ever learn, LOL.[/FONT]

Biking is really great to learn how to do. I don't have a car or a liscense so my main way of getting around the city is either walking or biking. Too lazy to get driving lessons is my main issue and when you live in the city and work in the city. Not much of a reason to get a car if you ask me.
Funny thing is I didn't even figure out how to ride my bike until the day I was adopted and was going to get training wheels on my bike at my aunts house. Ended up figuring out how to bike down there myself, it's like it just magically clicked.
But ya, biking is great once you learn how to do it. Only issue is trying to deal with car traffic, you have to have nerves of steel to not fear getting hit. No problems with biking on the side this entire year though *crosses fingers*

Yes, people do it all the time. It's called dumpster diving. Heck, I was too lazy to take my cans to a recycling center and just threw it in the trash. Next door neighbor must have watched me do it and went in to fetch them.
You walk around a city on any given trash day and I can guarantee you, that you will find some poor saps/homeless people going around with a cart/trash bag going through the trash picking up thrown out soda cans/bottles.
It's the cycle of the universe. Some humans waste things, other humans take advantage of said waste and use it to better themselves.
...
Hopefully...
was one time was a washer and dryer and a couch on curb for where garbage goes
some people in a pick up truck come pick them up and chained it in with chicken wire and drove off

It was outside at like 3:30 AM, wasn't chained up to anything, pretty bad shape, was next to the piles thrash due to (college kids moving out).
One thing I forgot to mention is that it stinks, it must have been there for awhile as soon as I made the post I didn't realize I smelled horrible so went to go take a bath.
The garbage trucks come at 4:00 AM, if I didn't get it, it garbage men would have.
But don't worry I plan on checking craigslist through the week to see if I accidentally did steal someone bike by accident before saving money to upgrade it, but given the circumstances I doubt I did.
Yeah that sounds like it was discarded, I was worried so saw one leaned up against a wall in an alleyway and took it
Riding a bike is super easy, you should learn since it's a very good method of transportation.
