Unstable servers again?

  So i'm not the only one having problems *phew* , but just wanted to ask what the error that comes up for ppl is because I am worried that my new security software may be interfering with mabi, I keep on getting ~
  the socket connection to mabinogi.nexon.net failed.
  ErrorCode: 10060.
  A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 208.85.109.182:80
  I don't know what to do ; ^ ;

  uhhh, nope. Looks like all of nexon is down. Also, this is weird. According to a server checking thing I made (which may now be inaccurate, idk)
  
  the login servers are online, but the server (i think its a server) that hosts channels 1,2,3,and housing is offline
  
  edit: maybe not, it prompted me for crackshield when I didn't have it open, so it's still online I guess. Just..extremely extremely laggy to the point where a successful login is probably impossible

  From what I have been reading on Basil Market, the Maplestory website and servers are also down. The evidence that people have been researching suggests that it is in fact a DDOS attack. When this started, Nexon received 300x more information than the servers could handle resulting in the inability to access both the website and the servers.

  Yes, maplestory login server is actually offline as opposed to mabinogi. I don't know much about DDoS, but it's weird to me that the mabinogi login server is in an "unreachable state" (idk what else to call this), and the "server" (idk if this is right) that hosts channels 1 2 3 and housing is offline, whereas the "server" that hosts channels 4,5,6,7 is apparently still online, but i can't tell if it's in an "unreachable state" or not because we can't even get in game. As for DDoS, since maplestory had an incident of heavy DDoS for like a week a pretty long time ago, nexon vastly increased their "anti-ddos" measures, which makes me think that this might not be from a DDoS attack...but then again idk much about how that stuff works. That x300 thing was from some guy starting a thread. I have no idea how one comes to that conclusion, so I'll just ask

  Okay. I just checked the vindictus and mabinogi websites and both are back on. Maplestory is still down.

  The website looked like it was working. Then I reloaded it again....its not working.:gloom3: I wanted to at least play before physiology.
