Unstable servers again?

  People are suggesting it but it doesn't have to be necessarily true.
  I believe that if a large scale DDoS attack was the case, Nexon would have just announced that. There is no shame in admitting to being victim to a DDoS attack.

  Comcast and Time Warner are currently separate but in the process of merging. Unsure on Charter. EoS also mentioned AT&T so that points more towards internet issues in California in general. Neither of which is Nexon's fault. Considering that almost every big website on the internet is vulnerable to DDoS attacks.

  I do, but I haven't played it in ages. Not very motivated for it. Every time a Pokemon game comes out I obsess over it for a couples months and then get bored and do something else. Hard to get my mojo back in pokemon games until the next game comes out.
  
  Basically from month to month my game obsessions will vary based on what update comes out and where. Zelda, Pokemon, Mabinogi, Runescape, Touhou, and Minecraft all have equal pulls on any given month for the most part. Zelda/Pokemon/Touhou obsession relies on new releases of those games until I beat it (or get too frusterated to beat it like in the case of Touhou) and get bored with the meta game stuff afterwards. Mabinogi has more pull around rebirth time and loses it's pull once I hit the 70/30 threshold. Events/Gach's will lengthen the pull. Minecraft's pull requires exclusively on mods and friends to catch my attention. Recent additions to Thaumcraft mod has pulled me in favor of that. Runescape's pull has been strong the past couple months due to piquing my interest of the new Elf City. It actually got me to train up my skills to 75 in the first place actually >.>
  
  As for adding you on Runescape, I can do that. I'm not Level 99 in everything unfournately. My level range is 75-88. Most of my combat is around the 80 range.

  Pinging nexon.net does show a slow response time... but that doesn't mean it is a DoS/DDoS attack. Maybe it is a connectivity issue on their part. Maybe we should wait for a proper response from Nexon before we start making baseless assumptions?

  yeah i know the thread, i had posted in it. regarding the second link, that response time indicates a ping time. Unless im missing something, that provides no insight about traffic. that site is just providing information about the website being online or offline, and latency informaation

  Try doing a tracert to show where it's slowing down. You'd be surprised at the insight you can gain from running a tracert. Running tracert will show where it's running into a connectivity issue which should point to if it's a backbone issue or an issue when it hits the domain itself.
