I got a letter in the mail today that a local bookshop is closing. As such they are having a giant sale and getting rid of everything in the store, and customers getting this invitation are allowed into the sale a week before it's announced to the public.

That's not the good part though.

I scroll down to the bottom of the letter.

"Anyone who brings both this invitation and envelope with them on the 4th will receive 2,000 prize dollars to spend in the store."

HOW MANY DISCOUNT BOOKS CAN $2000 BUY? I DON'T EVEN.

I don't think they literally mean $2000 in books
I'm thinking their prize dollars is a separate form of currency.

Like $500 prize dollars = $5 USD
