(Western) Phantasy Star Online 2 still delayed

Sega insists PSO2 is still delayed for the west and not cancelled.

It's been a bit over 2 years since the release of PSO2 in Japan and recently released in South East Asia in May 2014. (which was translated into English, besides voice acting remaining Japanese and just adding subtitles)

Oh and also, another Phantasy Star game is already being released this year in Japan.

That Gamescom thing? Its more of a rumor than a guarantee really. While it could be true, they have yet to release any official statement on it

From wat i understand they gave some pretty big specifics on how they want to release the western version more than just a "oh ya we might release Blade and Soul in NA".

I would too but I have friends that want to play this without having to go through all the English patches, long updates, and now even needing to use a vpn.

If it ever gets released over here, I'll play both NA and JP. I'm not terribly keen on abandoning my characters on JP.

Too much hassle for me. I don't like the game enough to go through those hurtles every time. It was fun for the short time it had my attention but got bored of it rather quickly.
