I was looking to start Tailoring and I need some Common Leather. Problem is I have no clue where to get it. I've read that Kobolds and Goblins drop them, but no one ever says where to find Kobolds or Goblins! :shoe:
As you may be able to tell I am a relatively new player, so the more specific you are the better. Also I am only about level 11 (total Lvl somewhere in the 30's), so no high-level monsters/dungeons....
If you feel like being really helpful, you can point me to a decent Tailoring guide (with descriptions on where to get the materials) and I would really appreciate it. All of the guides I've found are the same as the ones on mabinogiworld, and those aren't all that helpful I've found. I hate when you are trying to make something and you have to click through 10 webpages because they can't put in one line like "Found just outside Tir Chonaill, on the south side"....
Edit: I've read that players should train their Dex up a lot before trying most of the Life skills because of the increased chance for success. Should I wait on Tailoring until I get my Dex up some more? (People seem to agree on 180 Dex in all the posts I've read)

There are two ways of getting it.
1) Math Dungeon (Which is the Dungeon top-right of Dunbarton)
2) Part-time job at the General Shop guy in Dunbarton. (Intermediate-level)
Finest Leather, you can get easily from Advance-level part time job from the same NPC.
A lot of the other materials, you just have to make it from weaving or just try to find it from random rare drops or mini-game. Not sure if they even have it anymore.

There are also kobold bandits in the area northeast of bangor, so if you exit bangor from the north entrance and go in through the opening on the right after following the path for a bit.
If you play on alexina though, tell me your character name and a rought estimate of how many you need and I can send you what I pick up when I see them since they drop a lot with my ingredient hunting.

Thanks for the fast replies. I really appreciate it. I'm not so sure about Math Dungeon, I just did a quick search and it sounds like it may be a little difficult. Is it something that I can handle? (I was just in the game and I am actually level 16 [total 47]).
And to DarkPhantomAngel, I am playing on Ruairi, but my character's name is "Raccoonn1".

Make sure to do Crystallite Collecting event as it will reward you with a second title (that round icon next to character's name) that increases production rate a little. And rank Production Mastery whenever possible.
Math dungeon might be pretty hard for a while but you should try it anyway. Grab some ranged weapon, stay in the corner and kill them one by one.

Mailed 'ya some leathers. With the
Ingredient Hunting skill, all monsters have a chance of dropping leather upon death... but you'll need Tasting rank D and Cooking rank 9 to get the skill yourself.

Add me in-game and I'll run a Math dungeon with you with the party setting to anyone finish, you'll gain some levels and leather.
My character name is under this thing:

Thanks for the leathers, Rydian! I was able to make some very nice Wizard Hats.
...I don't know if its just me, but the Tailoring "mini-game" to finish an item seems flawed. When I do it I have to line up the end of the needle that you hold, not the tip like in reality.
