This. My wand ego stays happy and is never actually used. I talk to her now and then and hope I get lucky and get free blessings or mp recovery. An ego bow actually serves a useful purpose, with the incarnate skill just an extra benefit. A wand ego would just be an incredibly expensive place to throw craploads of money away... all for a flashy looking incarnate attack that won't compare to your spells/smash/wm/whatever it is you do.

Wand egos fail hard. Spirit awakening isn't very useful either. You shouldn't rely on a weak skill that can only be used once a day.

If it means anything, wand egos can hit up to 12 targets within a 1200 unit radius. At r1 that extends to 1800 units. Spirit bows inititally hit up to six targets within 1800-2600 units. That extends to a maximum of 15 targets.
