As long as they don't make it pay2play(Minus the first time) or pay2content, ect, I'll be fine with it.

I worry about what might happen to modding, since mods are the core of minecraft.
At worse we're forever stuck with the current latest version.

Most likely build a new version of Minecraft that runs better and with a better modding interface.
Something that won't be on PS4.

Well I hope this doesn't turn out to be a disaster. But ya worse case we stay on 1.7.10 unless modding finishes upgrading to 1.8. I'm looking at you forge *glares*

It will be on PS4, if sony pays the right price.

On the bright side of that happening, we won't need to wait for mods anymore.

One could only hope. I'm still going to hold my breath until I see the modding API

Sony has money?
Edit:

Despite Notch's comment on Facebook buying Oculus Rift (along the lines of he turned down similar amount of money), he decided to go through with this deal because he doesn't want to manage a large business anymore/make large video games.

You know, I can't say that I blame him. If I was in his shoes, I would have done the exact same thing. I would not be able to handle all that fame. I can barely take negative comments to begin with.
