Not on any TF2 server I ever went on in my hundreds of hours of playing TF2. Do you go to premium servers? I imagine those harbor a lot of the scum of the TF2 community.
In fact it never happened anywhere ever that I remember in my whoel gaming lifetime. Bashing on younger players is relatively common though. I guess everyone's forgetting who it was that played CS 1.3 when they were 10 years old.
I can't name every single server I've found it on, but off the top of my head, it was some 2fort servers, one being hosted by skial and the others were just some typical Valve servers, such as Valve Payload ones. Valve Payload is a surefire way to find one, because. . .Valve.
No really, those are the servers you're matched with when you just select choose multiplayer. So, the types of players that get on, select play multiplayer and get matched to a random server. Most of the people on Valve Payload are all newbies. The Soldier that can't shoot a rocket while moving. The scout that runs up to you to shoot you, but when you side strafe to avoid him, he stops in place, and does a delayed position adjustment, or WORSE, the ones that stand still and turn to face you like a damn MvM scout bot. And of course, the other two that are rampant. The Pyro that holds down W+M1 even if you're halfway across the map running towards you, or when you're obviously out of range, but "I'll get you eventually, MMPH!" You have a shotty for a reason.
And finally, the spies that when hit with Jarate, Mad Milk or set on fire, they cloak to escape. Not Dead Ringer, but the stock watch. :sigh:
I will admit, they're all fun to fuck with, but at times, it's like really.
Do any of the players I've described match what you guys encounter in other FPS games? Not the same classes mind you, but similar actions like what these guys do?
