How do you get over infatuation with someone you don't want to be interested in? I have this thing for hyperactive girls, and it drives me nuts. :sing:

Ask yourself why you don't wanna be interested in them, then rationalise it away, if possible. Problem solved, make out time.

I used to imagine them being mean to me.
That worked for awhile, now it's a turn on.

Believe me I've tried, and it's not some hormonal puberty thing either. I'm in my early 20's, and whenever I even talk to a girl on mental jet fuel, it's mesmerising. However due to reasons, I really don't want anything to do with anyone until I'm good and ready.

Its hard even around Christmas when you are feeling pretty one sided about someone. I guess I got to figure it out on my own. :gloom2:

Slap their ass, let them slap you. They will call the police.
Jail time turns off all pervs.

If you're infatuated with someone, it's because you like something about them.. it's not bad to follow through on that, as long as you don't rush into an actual relationship or anything.
For two reasons;
The easiest way to drop an infatuation is to let it run its course.
You might end up liking other aspects of them you haven't recognized and make a good friend.
If you don't end up liking anything else about them, then you get bored faster and move on lol. I feel like just sitting on the feeling and beating yourself up about it probably just makes it worse and harder to be rational about.
