Fan Installation Questions

I just installed two new fans because my other two were not giving enough air to the computer. I had two little plastic bits break (The 4/8 screw holders) and the screws given were wrong size.

So put in smaller screws that came in with the case to work and they are snug.

They work fine and there shows to be no problems. However im just worried how well they will hold up?

They're the universal fan screw for standard computer cases/fan mounts. So you should be fine.

They were a size too big for the side of my case. I tried to screw it in, but it just turned on the rim, meaning it was too big. I used screws meant for another component, and it was snug and didnt move.

Should still be fine as long as it isn't moving. Just check them once in a while (people should for any PC anyways) since the fan vibrations can loosen the screws over time.

Thanks Osay, made me feel safer about my decision to use different screws then supplied.
