Bunch of archery questions~

why does it cost so much more in alexina? That's so weird... things are usually cheaper.
i kinda wish bohemian set only requires 3 pieces tho...

im just gonna... slowly gather dragon parts whenever people decided to do raids... hopefully i get something :c

I dont know what server you are in but according to my mari friend the last bd eye went for 80m (he bought it) which is potentially equivalent to the price of both the eye and heart in alexina

hey guys, it's been a week or so and i've just bought an ele 5 R0 hlb. This is when i realized that i can barely make use of it. I constantly miss arrows and i feel frustrated/disheartened every time (especially crash shots). I'm just slowly losing motivation to continue archery and thinking about just moving onto puppets.

how do you guys deal with this? :c

You have to learn how to time your shots. And it's gonna require practice. Lots of it.

Also, your puppet really won't do much without good combo of str and dex... which basically requires you to have archery done anyway, so don't think puppet is gonna be any better.

Not just SoG.

There are certain times where it's shown to hit more than others.

Even if you're using tin potion, you can still do it right. Just depends on your reaction speed and your connection.

Not sure if someone mentioned this or if I said this before, but have you tried to change your MTU to 256? It works wonders, especially on skillset *cough* archery *cough* that depends on no skill lag.
I'm not sure how other people go about it, but I use a batch file that I run when I play mabi which sets it to 256, and restores my mtu to 1500 when I'm done. It's good to look into, especially for archery. You'll need to CC for it to take effect. The difference in skill lag is very noticeable.

This explains it pretty well.

Of course, there are some side effects from changing your MTU like slowing down streaming on youtube, but you can simply manage that with a batch file. A friend also told me that it increases bandwidth use (Don't change your MTU if you have a limit on your internet usage), or something along those lines.

I set my MTU at 386 usually when im playing mabi and have also disabled the naggle algorithm on my computer, this also is pretty useful and just goes the extra mile when dealing with lag. I would also recommend some sort of modification to change the UI in mabi. The text's font itself used to lag me a lot.
