Too few people talking about this :(

I think it's fucking cool.
It's also kind of insulting how many people are congratulating NASA for this when it was ESA's project...

Found out about it when I saw the doodle on google and clicked on it to find out more.
This is pretty cool and exciting. Especially the fact that the spacecraft can tweet xD.
Space exploration is always amazing

Everything SPACE amazes me. 10 years of travel to get there, such wonder.

They messed up the landing, with the anchor harpoons and landing thruster systems both having failed. This apparently caused the lander to bounce off the landing area and ended up landing inside a crater somewhere, out of reach of sunlight. No sunlight = no solar power = :(

Last I heard it was screwed for the next few months until the comet gets in a position that allows more sunlight on the solar panels.
For now they have a total of about 60 hours battery to work with (from when they landed, so much less now).
I hope it all works out. Some interesting stuff to be learned there.

Feminists couldn't wait to jump down this mans throat, they saw a man achieving something great, something historical and they couldn't wait to make it all about them and humiliate him to the point of tears.

So much for "wearing whatever we want and you can't judge us".
They're saying he deserves all the shit he's getting because of his choice of clothing. So I guess this means they changed their minds and it's okay to blame people for being called sluts/whores or being raped because of their choice of clothing now?

Sounds about right. Remember, feminist rules only apply to them. "We can wear whatever we want without question, but if a man does it he is scum unfit to live."

Holy crap... is this for real. :| I mean, what the hell did they do to make him cry? I wish he'd have just told them to go fuck themselves.

Yup.
It's all over the internet. It's actually bigger news that the milestone achievement in space exploration.

Basically he got so much harassment, threats, etc. that he broke down in tears apologizing for accidentally offending people just by wearing a shirt his friend gave him for his birthday.
It's this huge scientific milestone but all the news sites are just like, "Tattooed scientist offends women everywhere with misogynistic shirt!"

That's really sad. Pathetic low-lives. :( I'm pretty sure that it's safe to bet that most of those raging feminists haven't accomplished anything even remotely worthwhile in their lives, so they focus on putting down others, who have. Meh.
