Android 5.0

Finally got the OTA update notification on my Nexus 4! Downloading now. I hope it'll run as well as I've heard it did on the Nexus 4. If it does, I might keep this phone for a while longer--perhaps even look into installing a fresh battery into it.

I had the intention of replacing the N4 with the N6 this year, but the N6 turned out to be way too oversized (and even more overpriced) for my taste, plus it still runs on a 64 bit arch. Hopefully this update will be somewhat of an upgrade for me while I wait for a nicer phone to be available.

Anyone else upgraded to Android 5.0 or looking forward to trying it on their phone?

I got the nexus 9 tablet which has android 5.0. Runs very nicely.
Unfortunately my phone is a samsung galaxy S4, so if I stayed with the stock OS I get a shitty samsung interface that goes on top of android. So I went with cyanogenmod since I couldn't find a lazy man's way to get a stock android directly from google for that phone. Maybe more luck with 5.0, but I doubt it.

I'm looking forward to it in the near future! My contract with Verizon is up, so I'm due for an upgrade. As of right now, I've been looking at the Droid TURBO, which is set to get the update in the near future (no date yet). Love the look of Lollipop though, so I'm going to make sure I get a phone that either A) already has it or B) can be updated to it.

Like you, I was looking at the N6, although the biggest turn off for me was the size. The TURBO seems perfect, but alas it may never get the custom Android support I would like. Definitely unsure of what I should upgrade too.
