It should be illegal to display christmas merchandise or play christmas music over mass media until the day after Thanksgiving.
Because over time retail creep is making holidays that are not a source of retail profit be completely forgotten by the big box stores in favor of the holidays that are worthwhile for them.
So you see Valentines day merchandise on the shelves before New Years even, Easter the minute Valentines Day is over without bothering to do any more than shamrock T-shirts for St Patrick's day, and as soon as the Halloween stuff is gone they go straight to Christmas without pausing to stop and reflect on the people who made this country possible, colonists and soldiers alike.

I've only heard it in low volumes in a dollar store, thus far. But I already know that I'd be tired of it.
Kinda glad I barely watch TV anymore and hardly go to one of the local malls anymore.

I laugh at how stupid people are with going broke buying shit for everyone every time Christmas hits. <.< I mean, how can't people see that they are being screwed by advertising that badly? lol
That said, this is cute:

One day, there will be nothing left but Christmas. Instead of Presidents we will elect Santas.
