More insidiously, research scientists are barred under the act from advising on any topic that might “directly or indirectly involve review and evaluation of their own workâ€. In other words, the only people barred from advising the EPA on a particular chemical are those who have actually studied its toxicity or effect on the environment.

Conservatives want to throw the world back into the Dark Ages. Color me shocked.
Remember - the Republican Party is the polite face of the Dark Enlightenment. If you don't know what that is, google it, and then be very afraid.

Dems are better in the sense that the boot stamping on the human face forever doesn't stamp quite as hard, they're not using spiked boots, and they occasionally apologize for it while continuing to stamp.
Republicans are the ones maniacally laughing as the blood runs from your face.
