  It's turned into a signifier for "crazy ass bitch stuff" already because of the activity of crazy ass matriarchists running unchecked, often finding appreciation in mainstream feminism, which understandably tarnishes its reputation. It's up to feminism to work this little identity and reputation crisis out. If they don't distance themselves from matriarchists, they will have to expect this response.

  She is criticising them for forcing a variety of feminism on their fellow women. Of course she is completely missing the point by arguing it's a problem of men entering the feminist movement, but still. She is defending the work of the aforementioned Ms. Sommers, who is decidedly not a crazy ass bitch matriarchist, while the men in this example were supporting a very strict agenda of feminism by calling her an anti-feminist, obviously they are [S]feminists[/S] crazy ass bitch matriarchists themselves.

  Anyone can employ reason and come to logical conclusions no matter their affiliation. Effectively you are saying here that men shouldn't take a stance on feminist issues since they couldn't decide if it's really in favour of women or not. This would include you. Luckily that line of reason is faulty. This is an especially amusing position in this case because feminism proper works on the assumption that men and women are essentially the same.
  The issue isn't the person's sex or race or what ahve you, it's their lacking ability to reason, which is an individual issue.

I just don't like the idea of man hating, although one thing that needs to change is people who overgeneralize shit, myself included. Yes I will admit to being a faulty human that falls under the entrapment of over generalizing shit. I guess that's the first step in fixing the problem is recognizing the problem and then working to resolve it.

  You do have a point there, I can't argue that point. However, that cup is just adding unnecessary fuel to the fire and would be a sure fire way to piss off my coworker either way.
