Steaming, I mean Streaming

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. I heard about this, going to wait until it's not beta before I look into it. I'm not into streaming though, I prefer recording and then publishing it on youtube, but I do like watching streams.

I just hope it's not limited to steam only, there's absolutely no point to this if for people to watch you play they need to log into steam, or even worse use the steam client. It won't be able to compete with any other stream services if this is the case.

You can watch in a browser, without running steam just fine.

It looks more like it was designed so you can watch your friends, not as a competitor for something like Twitch.
