Then you should have opened with that explanation instead of asking us which traditional RPG class do we play, and then not include a staple class. D:

I am doing this because I been thinking about improvements I can make to traditional character classes, I especially think warriors are too boring nowdays. But I can't be sure since it's just my personal opinion so I am making a poll to find out whether people actually like warriors as they are.
Imo healers are fine so I didn't include them.
In D&D, clerics get access to spells that allow them to buff themselves to be as strong(if not way stronger) than other physical damage dealers in the game, while retaining the ability to cast other spells as a full spell-caster(Optimizing correctly of course). So in that sense, warriors do need a definite improvement but I also think it's just how people view the classes altogether and how they fit thematically. It's definitely more flashy and powerful to be smacking someone with a fireball as that has no limit to power compared to the limit of the strength of the person and their weapon. Numbers-wise it's probably different because game logic but yeah.

Warrior>Mage>Rogue
More specifically, Tank>Support>DPS
I tend to be more defense-, control- and support-oriented in the roles I prefer. Most tank classes are melee, and traditionally some variant of warrior is the most common tank, so you'll find me up in the front keeping the squishies from getting squished. Next up, I prefer healers, followed by using the versatile bag of tricks in a damage-dealing mage's arsenal. Mages get pretty creative tools in that regard, and it's always fun to figure out how to use them on various scenarios.
While the sneaky rogue is fun to play, I shy away from rogues for the same reason I shy away from DPS in general--the mentality of a lot of DPS-enthusiasts has soured me to damage dealing roles. Your gung ho "GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGO" morons who pull everything and then blame the tanks and healers for not keeping them alive so they can jerk off at the numbers they're putting out... *shudders*
Chances are, if damage is ALL a class can do, I'm not interested, MMO, tabletop or otherwise.
