So I just got a PS3. :D
A generation late, but PS4 isn't backwards compatible, and I wanted to play PS3 exclusives.
Anyway, question is, are there any good wireless headphones that would work both with PC and PS3? Doesn't need to be a headset with a mic. Mostly for gaming on either platform.
AND you need to be able to clean or easily replace the earpads/headband when they get dirty.
And rechargeable, if that should even be a question.
I wanna be able to be at my desk either working on something or or whatever, and then be able to move back, put my feet up back away from my desk without a cable going across the way. And with cats, young hardheaded ones especially thats asking for a broken cable.
Optimally you would be able to plug it in wired, or connect it via bluetooth to any device of mine (EG, 3DS wired or bluetooth to phone) but I'm guessing that is more along the lines of a pipe dream.
Anyone know anything more about this? Am I asking for too much? xD

For me, my first headset was a Turtle Beach Px3, still use it today and works fantastic imo. As far as switching back n forth from PC to console, mine does that I just need to plug the box in to whichever then it's done. So I would recommend Turtle Beach headsets, it's probably not a major thing people will use, but works for me and some of the wireless headsets do have a USB option available if you're into that. I plan to get this bad boys soon

I've been told the the Skullcandy PLYR headsets are decent, two models are wireless not sure if they have bluetooth and have cords though.
Just buy normal headphones

That's why I'm asking. I know basically nothing about what makes good headphones. I can hear the difference, but as far as how that correlates the specs on a webpage I have no idea.
I just don't wanna buy some random thing in a store and fine out that it's a piece of garbage, which has happened to me before. :B

What's your price range?
Also are you okay with a wired headphone + mic combo? The audio quality will be superior to those of headsets and with adapters you'll be able to use it on your PS3

Too busy. Forgot about this for a week. D:
Budget is still TBD. Though probably around the 50-100 range?
Also I have a wired headset. And audio goes through HDMI to the audio port on my monitor that I plug into. I wanted something wireless. And the mic doesn't really matter too much.

I personally use Logitech g930s.
Had em for almost a year now and they haven't gone out, no problems, nada. They're amazing and if i wear them out, i'm getting another set 100%.

Personally I use Afterglow Wireless, and I love it except I look kinda funny on stream with it and eventually it hurts me because I have a smaller head and ears.
Other than that it still works perfectly fine for me, and it comes with cables if you ever feel hooking it up but not as a requirement since all you want is the bluetooth stick for wireless gaming (the stick has an indicator if it's on/off too once you put it in and its multi-compatible so you can use it on your PC, etc.).
A few more features along with it is that it has a retractable mic and it's rechargeable (you can even charge it while using it), but the charger doesn't come with an adapter since you can plug it in on your console to charge too and not just the wall outlets. Lastly is the sound quality, it's pretty much good and up to par to Beats and better than skullcandy.
I'd say my only con with this is it's price ($99 + tax) and they can only be ordered online and in Gamestop. But other than that it's worth it for more gaming years~
Also the headset itself glows as you use it.
