I'm in a bind...

  This morning I walked into the kitchen and heard water running. I woke up my mom and dad and they found out a copper pipe is spewing water out. Luckily, I caught it in time that it didn't make a lot of water come out, but we had to turn our water valve off so it wouldn't keep spraying water...
  
  Anyway, now we need to call a plumber and we don't know how much that'll cost. Obviously it'll cost a lot, though. They're copper pipes, they have to be replaced by copper and soldered, meaning a lot of work...
  
  So I ask you, Nation, please, would you donate a little money to my paypal so I can fix my pipes? I'm not asking for much, I just need a little bit to help. Even if you have a quarter, that'll help us out a lot.

  Thanks, I hope I can get even a few bucks, that'll help me more than no money at all, haha.
  If you could, please tell others about my situation, I know it's a little rude, but I just cannot afford this all on my own. Nobody in my family has a job, we're on a fixed income because of my mother in the first place. She gets disability, so it's rough. I just really need any help people can give.

  Not everyone can get to Rua's House, so I thought this would be better. Also, i fixed my anonymous donate section since the previous link wasn't working.

  I advise using google and learning how to do it yourself. This happened to us last winter, and fixing the pipe myself saved us ~$300. You don't need to solder the pipes, nowadays they make fittings to connect two copper pipes together that are even more sturdy than soldering, but they're easy enough to use that anyone can do it.
  
  All you need to fix this is:
  
  A pipe cutter(~$12)
  Length of copper pipe ($8-$15 depending on thickness)
  2 Quick-Connect Copper Pipe Fittings ($6-$10 for both depending on thickness)
  Steel Wool(~$4)
  Can of sealant (~$15)
  And maybe some insulation if you want to ($3-$8)
  
  So, that's $48-$64 to fix it on your own. A plumber will probably charge you $300-$1500.
  
  It's only economical to call a plumber if there are 6+ broken pipes, because you'd have to buy that "kit" for each one.

  Well, I got that info from personal experience, my uncle told me how to do it. I'm sure there's a tutorial out there though, there's one for everything.
  
  Here's one I found on youtube though. You'd just use regular sharkbite connectors instead of the valve one.

  As soon as I replied and asked for a tutorial of sorts, I told my dad and he said he knew how to do it.
  Apparently the only reason he doesn't do it is because he doesn't feel well right now...
  Luckily, we figured out it's just our hot water line, so we can fix it...hopefully.
